Not sure exactly how that integration works, but it does work, at least it works on my account. I have heard some other people say that the meter took a few hours before it showed up in their smartthings app. It’s what’s enabling the cloud to cloud integration. However, without the switchbot hub, you can’t get integration with smartthings. What is the best direction for me to head in 1 Reply Last reply Reply Quote 0. I want to emulate a remote that I dont have. But the switchbot hub itself does not show up. How dirty will I need to get my hands to be able to specify IR codes rather than record them I have a flic IR blaster attached to a Hub LR. If you have set up a device with an IR remote in the Switchbot app, like a television or an air conditioner, then that device will also show up in the smartthings app. Provide a Wi-Fi bridge for third-party Integrations, including IFTTT and smartthings. 1 ReplyLast reply 0 poojafkme This post is deleted dfrey dfrey dfrey Confirmed.that cable from amazon works perfectly. To communicate with the Bluetooth DevicesĪct as an IR remote for devices which have been defined in the Switchbot app I've setup a Flic button to perform an internet request and IR Blaster chain command when clicked. The hub itself will not show up in the smartthings app. 1 1 360 Log in to reply SomeCanadian, 15:01 I'm experiencing a rather odd issue with my Flic setup. Connect your Flic IR Accessory to the Flic Hub via the 2.5mm connector and place the IR blaster, in the direction of the receiving device (s). In operation, they’re similar to the Logitech Pop buttons. Can’t seem to get everything integrated into ST app ? With an IR blaster as standard, the Flic Hub can do a little more than the original buttons alone. Don’t understand the function of the Hub Mini as it only allows me to add infrared devices which I have none of. Furthermore the Bot A1 although shoes up as a device, it shows as ON until I press it and then goes Offline. All devices do show up in the SwichBot App and also showed up as a Linked Service but the Hub and Meter are no where to be found. Use Flic to replace all your remote controls IR means infrared and it’s the way that old remote controls can communicate with TV’s, sound systems, air conditioners. Ok, I now have the SwitchBot Hub Mini, Meter (Thermometer/Hygrometer) and Bot but only the Bot shows up when I added the SwitchBot device to ST.
